Abstract. Research data management is an integral and vital part of global Open Science, and its advantages include: avoiding duplication of existing data, greater transparency of the process, and optimization of efforts in large research groups. The conference paper describes the concept of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) as a tool to promote data openness.
